Lee County High School Senior Graduate
Alana is a high school graduate of Lee County High School where she was involved in varsity cheerleading, Beta Club, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program as well as CAS.
She also served as a member of our JLP Senior Model Team 22 and I enjoyed working with her so much.
Let me tell you that Alana deserves all the beautiful purple blooms we could find to match her outfit. The North Carolina spring this year was a lot of things including unpredictable and Alana dealt with all the weather conditions; wind, rain, cold, etc with a smile.
Here are a few of Alana’s favorite things:

and coffee and squishmallows.
Fashion is one of Alana’s passions and it is inspirational to see others express themselves through fashion. “Everyone is different and fashion is one of the best ways to show others who you are.”
Alana describes her personal style as girly and fun! She loves bright colors and statement pieces.
When she chose the Duke Gardens for one of her senior photo locations I was so excited. It is the perfect location for fun pictures, beautiful colors, and statement pieces are around each bend.
“My personal style was inspired by seeing others, especially certain influencers and creators wear what they want. Too often, I think style can be based off of short lived trends and what you think the people around you will approve of when you really should be wearing what makes you HAPPY!"
A Favorite Senior Year Memory
Alana’s favorite memory from senior year -
“Becoming closer than ever with some of my best friends and cherishing every moment we have before we all go to different schools in different states!'
Alana will be attending NC State University in the fall pursuing a B.S. in Fashion and Textile Management with a concentration in Brand Marketing.
How did Alana decide where to attend college?
“Deciding on a school was difficult in the beginning of senior year because I did not know what I wanted to do career wise yet. When I discovered NC State’s fashion program I fell in love with it and decided that fashion was the best major that suited me!"
What are you excited about beginning college?
“I am excited to meet new people in college and experience living on my own."
What is your dorm room style?
“My theme for my dorm room is preppy pink! I have a couple bigger items in white as a base and then I’m adding a lot of pink and some blue accents as decor."
